FAKRA 1st generation connector is a kind of radio connector for printed circuit board (PCB), which is widely used in automotive RF Connectors. It was originally developed by Germany FischerConnectors, mainly used in car audio, navigation, video systems, but also can be used for radio communications, radio and television, aerospace and other fields.FAKRA 1st generation connector appearance structure and the U.S. standard SMA connector is similar to the connector, but the internal structure of the different to the solid centre conductor and the outer edge of the bushing as the main body, through the metal protective housing. The connector is protected by a metal shell.
The performance parameters of FAKRA Generation 1 connectors include a transmission frequency of 0 to 4 GHz, a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms, and a maximum load current of 1A. They are waterproof, vibration-resistant and anti-interference resistant, and can be adapted to harsh operating environments.
