Vertical connectors and VersaLink are a unique connector type with crimp mounting technology, very low voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) and a high maximum operating frequency range. Vertical connectors are ideally suited for a wide range of board thicknesses and compositions in ribbon and microstrip transmission lines. They are well suited for non-destructive and interference-free test applications such as prototyping and wafer testing. The unique design of vertical connectors, such as the unique contact design of the ‘JJ’ or ‘LL’ type, can reduce the no-wire area by up to 19% compared to conventional CEM connectors.
